Landscapes

With this series of mixed media landscapes Forsythe speaks to the colors and natural beauty of Maui. These are fabrications, fantasies and memories of a romanticized landscape as the artist explores the movement of sky, sea and land across the island. These works are meant to remind us of how movement affects one’s ability to confine nature’s splendor to one single image.
