Fine artist painter Brad Forsythe has spent a lifetime working in the creative arts field and has been honored with numerous local, regional, and national industry awards for creative excellence. After graduating with a Film/Television/Radio degree from the University of Central Missouri, Brad worked in broadcasting then expanded his creative interests and joined the staff of an international advertising agency. Several years later Brad co-founded advertising/marketing firm Forsythe & Butler in Houston, Texas serving as President and Executive Creative Director. He also was awarded several US Patents for the development of digital media transaction platforms.
Brad has several artist collaborations to his credit. His work has appeared on products ranging from Italian-made scarves to custom snowboards, skis, surfboards and paddles. His work was selected for a car wrap competition for BMW. Brad’s fine art collaboration was also recognized by the International Design Awards competition in the Communications Technology New Product category.
While living in Hawaii Brad began a collaborative relationship with legendary board shaper and global surfboard brand Jimmy Lewis. His artwork was utilized as surface graphics for the introduction of a new line of high performance surfboards, the Super Tech SUP Surfboards.
Brad’s fine art paintings have been selected for numerous exhibitions in North America and the Pacific Rim. As a fine artist Brad Forsythe’s work is widely exhibited and appears in several private and corporate collections throughout the world.
