Fine artist Brad Forsythe has spent a lifetime working in the creative arts field and has been honored with numerous local, regional and national industry awards for creative excellence. After graduating with a Film/Television/Radio degree from the University of Central Missouri, Brad worked in broadcasting then expanded his creative interests and joined the staff of an international advertising agency. Several years later Brad co-founded advertising/marketing firm Forsythe & Butler in Houston, Texas serving as President and Executive Creative Director. He also was awarded several US Patents for the development of digital media transaction platforms.

As a fine art painter and an award winning photographer his work has been widely exhibited and appears in several private and corporate collections throughout the world.

Brad has several artist collaborations to his credit. His work has appeared on products far from the Hawaiian Islands, ranging from Italian-made scarves to custom snowboards, skis, surfboards, paddles. Recently his work was selected as an art based car wrap for a BMW M2 competition. He was honored with recognition from the International Design Awards competition in the Communications Technology New Product category.

In early 2014 Brad began a collaborative relationship with legendary board shaper and global brand Jimmy Lewis providing surface graphics for his new line of Super Tech surfboards. He continues to collaborate with Jimmy Lewis providing his original art for a number of new products including SUP paddles and SUP surfboards. Most recently Brad teamed up with a retail apparel chain to develop an exclusive line of beachwear. Brad has several upcoming collaborations in the works in a variety of new product categories.

In addition to his mixed media paintings, Brad also creates non-traditional lens-based art merging his paintings with abstract digital images. Brad's paintings and photography have been selected for numerous exhibitions in Hawai'i and North America.

Brad lives with his wife and their two rescue dogs on the North Shore of Maui.
